Terms of Service for Buckeye Concrete AZ

Last Updated: February 27, 2026

Thanks for choosing Buckeye Concrete AZ. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) explain how we work together on your concrete project. They’re written in plain language because we believe in transparency.

When you request a quote, accept our proposal, schedule work, or allow work to begin, you’re agreeing to these Terms (along with any written proposal, invoice, or project agreement you sign).

Our Services

We provide professional concrete services in Buckeye, Arizona and surrounding areas, including:

  • Residential and commercial driveways

  • Patios, pool decks, and outdoor flatwork

  • Sidewalks, walkways, and pathways

  • Concrete slabs and foundations (where applicable)

  • Repair and restoration services

  • Decorative concrete and custom finishes

  • Specialty projects tailored to your needs

We use quality materials and proven methods on every job.

Estimates and Pricing

Free Consultations — We offer complimentary estimates for most projects. Quotes are based on visible conditions, measurements, and the information you provide. If hidden issues are discovered after work begins, pricing may change. We’ll discuss any adjustments with you before proceeding.

Quote Expiration — Written estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Material costs and availability can change after that.

Scope Changes — Any changes to the agreed scope (design, dimensions, finishes, demo, add-ons) require a revised quote and your written approval (text/email approval is acceptable if we agree in writing that it counts).

Project Timeline

Start and Completion — We provide estimated timelines, but concrete work is weather- and site-condition dependent. Delays can occur due to extreme heat/cold, wind, rain, material supply, inspections, or scheduling constraints. We’ll communicate changes promptly.

Weather and Curing — Arizona conditions (heat, sun, wind, monsoon storms, and temperature swings) affect placing and curing concrete. For quality and safety, we may pause or reschedule work when conditions are not suitable. These delays do not constitute a breach of agreement.

Your Responsibilities

To keep your project moving smoothly, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate project details and specifications

  • Ensure clear and safe access to the work site

  • Obtain required HOA approvals or municipal permits unless we agree otherwise in writing

  • Remove vehicles, furniture, and obstructions from the work area

  • Keep children and pets away from the construction zone

  • Identify sprinkler lines, low-voltage wiring, septic systems, and other known site features

If these responsibilities aren’t met, delays and/or additional charges may apply.

Payment Terms

Deposit Required — Many projects require a deposit to reserve scheduling and purchase materials. Deposit amount and timing will be listed in your proposal/contract.

Balance Due — Final payment is due upon completion of the agreed work unless different terms are written and signed.

Payment Methods — We accept payment methods as agreed in your project documents (commonly cash, check, and electronic/digital payments).

Late Payments — Overdue balances may result in work suspension and may be subject to late fees/interest to the extent permitted by law. We also reserve the right to pursue lawful collection remedies, which may include filing a lien where allowed.

Concrete Characteristics

Concrete is a natural material with normal characteristics that do not indicate poor workmanship, including:

  • Minor hairline cracking

  • Color variation and shading differences

  • Slight texture variations and small surface imperfections

  • Effects from environmental conditions (heat, wind, moisture, soil movement)

  • Variations that occur as concrete cures and ages

We guarantee professional installation according to the agreed scope, but we cannot eliminate the natural behavior of concrete.

Warranty Coverage

Any workmanship warranty we offer (if applicable) will be described in your proposal or project agreement.

Common exclusions include:

  • Damage from chemicals, fertilizers, salt/de-icers, pressure washing misuse, or harsh cleaners

  • Cracking from ground movement, soil settlement, expansive soils, erosion, or tree roots

  • Discoloration, fading, or weathering over time

  • Damage from misuse, impacts, excessive loads, or improper drainage

  • Issues caused by third-party work or changes after installation (landscaping, plumbing, grading, irrigation changes)

Subsurface Conditions and Utilities

Underground surprises can happen. We may encounter:

  • Poor/unstable soil, excessive moisture, or voids

  • Buried debris, rock, or previous construction materials

  • Unmarked utilities or lines (gas, water, electrical, irrigation, low-voltage, septic, etc.)

Utilities: You are responsible for identifying private/unmarked lines. We are not responsible for damage to unmarked or undisclosed utilities. If subsurface issues arise, we’ll explain options and any added costs before continuing. Additional work requires your authorization.

Liability Limitations

We stand behind our work within reasonable bounds:

  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the portion of services giving rise to the claim

  • We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (e.g., lost profits, loss of use)

  • We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our control (weather, supply disruptions, inspections, acts of nature)

Some limitations may not apply in all situations under applicable law.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel:

  • Notify us immediately in writing (email or text is acceptable)

  • Deposits are non-refundable if materials have been ordered, custom items are in production, or work has begun

  • Cancellation fees may apply depending on project stage, scheduling impacts, and costs already incurred

Project Suspension / Termination

We may suspend or terminate work if:

  • Site conditions become unsafe

  • Access is denied or the site isn’t ready as agreed

  • Payments are not received as scheduled

  • These Terms or the project agreement are materially breached

We prefer to resolve issues through communication, but we reserve this right when necessary.

Photos and Marketing (Optional)

With your permission, we may take before/after photos for documentation and marketing. If you do not want your project photographed or shared, tell us in writing and we will respect your request.

Legal Framework

These Terms are governed by Arizona law. Any disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Maricopa County, Arizona, unless a written project agreement specifies otherwise.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Updated Terms are effective upon posting to our website and apply going forward.
